Lady Gaga Biopic in the Works; Who Should Play the Singer?

A Lady Gaga biopic is reportedly in the works, and she's not happy.

According to various reports, the surprisingly introspective pop star is "furious" and even "cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television."

The biopic's producers are already searching for the perfect lead actress for Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story (reportedly written by Norman Snider).

"They want a total unknown," says the insider.

Back to her issues with the film for a moment: Lady Gaga has never shied away from publicity, obviously, so what's the problem with the film?

"Gaga doesn't want it getting out; it will portray her as insecure and needy," explains a friend. "She wants to be seen as powerful and strong."

The singer's personal life, while well guarded, will be a focal point. Before dating Taylor Kinney, she was in a long-term relationship with Luc Carl.

Luc exposed moments from their relationship in his new memoir, The Drunk Diet: How I Lost 40 Pounds... Wasted. Seriously, it's called that.

"The breakup with my girlfriend was my rock bottom," Luc explains in the book. "It took me about a week to realize she was right. I was f--king miserable."

"It wasn't her fault. It was my fault for being a drunk a--hole," the New York rocker and bartender acknowledges "I would have left me, too."
