A Lady Gaga biopic is reportedly in the works, and she's not happy.
According to various reports, the surprisingly introspective pop star is "furious" and even "cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television."
The biopic's producers are already searching for the perfect lead actress for Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story (reportedly written by Norman Snider).
"They want a total unknown," says the insider.
Back to her issues with the film for a moment: Lady Gaga has never shied away from publicity, obviously, so what's the problem with the film?
"Gaga doesn't want it getting out; it will portray her as insecure and needy," explains a friend. "She wants to be seen as powerful and strong."
The singer's personal life, while well guarded, will be a focal point. Before dating Taylor Kinney, she was in a long-term relationship with Luc Carl.
Luc exposed moments from their relationship in his new memoir, The Drunk Diet: How I Lost 40 Pounds... Wasted. Seriously, it's called that.
"The breakup with my girlfriend was my rock bottom," Luc explains in the book. "It took me about a week to realize she was right. I was f--king miserable."
"It wasn't her fault. It was my fault for being a drunk a--hole," the New York rocker and bartender acknowledges "I would have left me, too."

BOSTON -- It's cold. It's early. And almost nobody is voting yet on the day that every pundit is saying could finally shake up this year's Republican presidential race.
Polls opened here at 7 a.m. for Super Tuesday voting and if the initial trickle at the Harbor Point Technology Center -- the closest polling place to UMass Boston -- is any indication, turnout ain't looking good in the home state of GOP presidential front-runner Mitt Romney.
Boston's NPR station, WBUR, reported this morning that only 300,000 voters are expected to show up today, 200,000 fewer than in the 2008 presidential primary, when both parties were engaged in vigorous races. To put things in perspective: Almost one million young voters are eligible to vote in Massachusetts today.
In the spacious first floor student lounge here, flags of the world's countries hung over the room as 18-year-old Amanda Carey admitted she hadn't voted yet but she would do so for the first time ever after school in a bid to support fiery Congressman Ron Paul.
But by 8:30 a.m. only one voter, a 24-year-old Northeastern graduate named Ashley, had shown up to vote. She identified herself as a Libertarian and said she was voting to get President Obama out of office because, "I don't believe he's delivered on any promises he made in 2008."
Down the road at UMass Boston, students were trickling into the Campus Center. There wasn't a polling place there, but there was a cafeteria. And for now that was a way bigger draw this morning. (Jacob Soboroff)
ATLANTA -- We're at Georgia Tech and the Student Center polling station in the heart of campus is open! But so is the Chick-Fil-A right next door -- and so far, it looks like more people are interested in biscuits than ballots. Maybe they're just powering up for the big day?
Michael, a grad student in electrical engineering, was definitely down to exercise his democratic duty. He's also really passionate about Paul and credits the Libertarian Congressman from Texas with inspiring him to learn more about the economy. Michael believes former President Bush and now President Obama have "crashed the system" and the only one talking about the big changes we need to make as a country is the GOP's oldest candidate.
"It felt good," he said about voting for a candidate he was passionate about. "I wouldn't have come out today if Ron Paul wasn't a candidate."
Some early birds were planning to read up and get their vote on in the November general election, but Mark Teal, a senior in civil engineering, is sitting Tuesday's vote out because he's a Democrat, even though he could still cast a ballot in the open primary. He predicts whoever wins the Republican nomination may give Obama a good fight, but is confident the current president will see another term.
Brent and Chase, two seniors majoring in electrical engineering, weren't eligible to vote because they didn't get absentee ballots in time, but they're on the Newt Gingrich train and are confident the former House Speaker will win in his home state.
Finally, I chatted with Mehran, a 22-year-old industrial engineering major, who says it is just too early for him to get involved -- and he wasn't even aware that it was Super Tuesday, or that the Republicans were duking it out to take on Obama. (Becca Frucht)
COLUMBUS -- It's 6:30 a.m. and I am walking around the Ohio State University campus trying to find the polling site. I ask five to six students and nobody knows where it is. I finally find an information booth and they laugh and tell me I have actually been on site the entire time and the station is just 20 yards away.
The polling site, in the student union in the center of campus, is pretty quiet around 7:30 a.m., when I was expecting a morning rush as students cast their ballots on their way to the day's first class. Plenty of young people are going to class or to work, but all zoom right past the polling site. Not even a glance. I didn't see one person under the age of 30 exercise their power to vote in the 90 minutes I hung around in the cold dawn.
Finally, I found Andrei Rhakovic, 25, who was in a hurry, but stopped for a minute to speak his mind. "It's just bulls--- overall," he said. "I voted for Obama four years ago ... but these past four years have really shown how f---ed and corrupt the system still is." If anyone could get us out of this jam he describes, he thinks it's Paul, but, well, let's just say Rhakovic doesn't trust his judgment either.
Oftentimes when I speak with young voters it feels like they've experienced a "bad breakup" with government and politicians and this year's election. But for Andrei, he is feeling much more than that. This is a bad -- real bad - divorce. When I ask what it would take for him to re-engage all he can say is, "I don't know. That's a good question." With potentially millions of foreclosed, bank-owned homes coming to the housing market over the next few years, cash-heavy investors are poised to profit, especially when buying in bulk.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency, regulator of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, recently announced a pilot property sale program of 2500 foreclosuresnow on the books of Fannie Mae.
Phoenix investor Geoffrey Jacobs is hoping to get in on it.
?The ability to buy in bulk adds to our ability to grow our portfolio in a meaningful way in a short period of time,? says Jacobs, principal at Empire Group, which has already bought over 1000 Phoenix-area homes in the past two and a half years. ?When you look at how well these properties lease and the type of rental yields, it?s a compelling investment.?
When Empire Group first began buying foreclosures in 2009, it farmed out the property management to smaller companies and individuals. Jacobs quickly learned that method was costing precious profit.
?To some degree it?s a nickel and dime business. If you don?t have it in house or in a joint venture, you?re losing out,? says Jacobs.
Just twenty percent of the nation?s 8.7 million single family rental properties are managed by professionals, according to Steve Cook of Real Estate Economy Watch. Individual owner/investors do the bulk of the rest. That led to just 35 percent of those rentals turning a profit. Owners, according to Cook, may be spending too much time and money on maintenance.
Jacobs? group, however, is very profitable, with 8-9 percent annual returns on his properties. His renters stay, he says, with a 65-70 percent re-up rate. He credits good management and hopes, someday, that his long-term renters will become buyers. Unfortunately, that may take a while, as so many of them need to rebuild their credit.
?Our tenants are not apartment dwellers. They?re dual income families, probably lost a house or gave up a house voluntarily. They want to get their lives in order, stabilized,? says Jacobs. ?Once they?ve done that, they then can become buyers of those properties down the road.?
Empire Group has already passed the first round of pre-qualification for the FHFA REO to Rent program and is hoping to clear the second round and start bidding on bulk properties in the next few weeks.

Over the weekend, stars like George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Jane Lynch reacted as one to the former teen idol's homophobic remarks, condemning his comments?that homosexuality was "unnatural" and gay marriage "detrimental" to society.
Then this morning, his former small-screen sister Tracey Gold reasserted her belief in equal rights, making sure to put a considerable distance between herself and Cameron.
And now? Well, the floodgates have opened, and stars are aligning to condemn the hateful remarks in the wake of the firestorm. Among them, Kirk's TV dad Alan Thicke.

A Washington State University researcher has demonstrated that a variety of environmental toxicants can have negative effects on not just an exposed animal but the next three generations of its offspring.
The animal's DNA sequence remains unchanged, but the compounds change the way genes turn on and off?the epigenetic effect studied at length by WSU molecular biologist Michael Skinner and expanded on in the current issue of the online journal PLoS ONE.
While Skinner's earlier research has shown similar effects from a pesticide and fungicide, this is the first to show a greater variety of toxicants?including jet fuel, dioxin, plastics, and the pesticides DEET and permethrin?promoting epigenetic disease across generations.
"We didn't expect them all to have transgenerational effects, but all of them did," Skinner told the technology website Gizmodo. "I thought hydrocarbon would be negative but it was positive too."
This tells researchers that the ability to promote transgenerational disease is "not simply a unique aspect for a unique compound" but a characteristic of many environmental compounds.
The field opens new ground in the study of how diseases develop. While toxicologists generally focus on animals exposed to a compound, Skinner's work further demonstrates that diseases can also stem from older, ancestral exposures that are then mediated through epigenetic changes in sperm.
The work also points the way to identify and diagnose exposures through the use of specific epigenetic molecular markers.
"In the future we might be able to use these epigenetic biomarkers to determine your ancestral and personnel exposure early in life, and to predict your susceptibility to get a disease later in life," Skinner says.
The study was funded by the U.S. Army to study pollutants that troops might be exposed to. Skinner and his colleagues exposed pregnant female rats to relatively high but non-lethal amounts of the compounds and tracked changes in three generations of offspring. The researchers saw females reaching puberty earlier, increased rates in the decay and death of sperm cells, and lower numbers of ovarian follicles that later become eggs. Future studies can use the molecular tools for risk assessment analysis.
